cPanel 10 Control Panel

Detailed Web Statistics

Web statistic programs AWStats and Webalizer are accessed from the cPanel control panel. AWStats provides pretty graphical representations of visitor statistics. The more widely used and popular Webalizer is a more complex stats program that produces a nice variety of charts and graphs about who has visited your site.

Cpanel also provides a number of other useful statistics such as:

• Sub-domain Statistics
• View Latest 300 Visitors
• View Bandwidth Usage
• View Error Log

If your using your own prefered statistics analyser access to the raw log files is provided.

Frontpage Support

Frontpage is a Microsoft program that allows easy creation and publishing of websites all from within the program. Most users with Microsoft Office will have a version of Frontpage available.

Due to security risks Frontpage extensions are not installed by default, if you want to use Frontpage follow these easy instructions found here to install Frontpage extensions from Cpanel.

Spam Filters

Spam Assassin is an automated mail filter that uses a wide range of heuristic algorithms on mail headers and message body text to identify "SPAM" (unsolicited email). Once identified, the mail is tagged as SPAM for later filtering using the user's desktop mail client.

You may also enable the Spam Box feature will cause all mail marked by Spam Assassin as spam to be delivered to a separate mail box called 'spam'. You must use Horde webmail to check messages that are routed to this box.
